Singing solo at the Baptist Choir- and Conducting Course

On 26 February 2018 I had the honour to sing the solo part of the choir piece "Mert úgy szerette Isten a világot" (translates: "For God loved the World so much...") which is an old, traditional baptist choral song.

Szabolcs Tóka: Reformation 500

In February I had the chance to conduct at the Baptist Choir- and Conducting Course in Békéscsaba at Csabagyöngye Kulturális Központ, a brand new piece by a former teacher of mine, Tóka Szabolcs which he composed for the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.

Performed by the choir of the Baptist Choir- and Conducting Course conducted by Johanna Földesi, accompanied on organ by the composer, Szabolcs Tóka himself.

John Dowland: Now o now I needs must part

The famous Frog's Galliard by John Dowland performed on my Final Master Recital on 23 June 2014. Performing this song sitting around the table with the music score in the middle was a common practice back in the time of John Dowland. It was revival of this old and cosy tradition back from the times when people didn't have radio, television or internet.

J. S. Bach: Schafe können sicher weiden

Video recording from the pre-historic times of Scherzi Musici (or so to say) when we were still a project ensemble.

John Dowland: Flow my tears

In my point of view, even if you have a pretty melody and an even prettier accompanyment, neither of them should be more important than the lyrics.

Therefore I like to experiment with different colours and speech-like interpretations. On this recording I am singing the early music hitsong Flow my tears by John Dowland, and the recording was made at the presentation concert of Evelyn Tubb's masterclass at Fontys Conservatory in January 2013.
